My name is Specialist Paul Smith, and I have been deployed with the 161st Area Support Medical Battalion in Mobile, Army National Guard since January.
Even at 7,000 miles away from Alabama, I receive The Alabama Baptist, courtesy of my mother, Gisela Smith, from Bay Minette. I would like to extend my appreciation to your newspaper and staff.
I share The Alabama Baptist with others who attend our worship services conducted by Sergeant First Class James Hughes from Indian Springs Baptist in Mobile. Your newspaper has been an inspiration to all of us who read it here at Camp Udairi, Kuwait. I especially enjoy the editions with the Baldwin Baptist Association in it.
When at home, I attend Calvary Baptist in the Pine Grove community, Bay Minette. Thank you again for your newspaper and for your support in Operation Iraqi Freedom. May God continue to bless our troops.
