Where I Find You
Sparrow Records

Kari Jobe’s sophomore album is causing quite a stir in the music industry. Released  January 24, “Where I Find You” quickly rose to the top of iTunes’ overall Album chart and sits at the top spot of the Christian and Gospel chart. The album’s first single, “We Are,” flew to Billboard’s Top 10, and the Winter Jam 2012 tour featuring Jobe is already setting attendance records wherever it goes.

Jobe, worship leader for Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas, said this about the new album: “These songs come from such an honest place of praising God for what He’s done — and what He’s continuing to do in our lives — because of His grace and goodness.  Ultimately, it’s about declaring who He is and enjoying the simplicity of knowing the Lord is near. He’s for us, He loves us and sometimes, we need to just stop, enjoy His presence and take that in.”

“What Love Is This,” a ballad recorded with just piano and Jobe’s haunting voice, may well be the sleeper hit on the record. “We Exalt Your Name” is another powerfully moving worship ballad sure to touch a lot of hearts.

This record is certain to be one of the standout releases of 2012. Jobe, already a two-time Dove Award winner from her debut album in 2009, has hit her stride with this record.
