ABUJA, Nigeria — Fifteen more Nigerian Christians have been killed as factions opposed to believers continue their massacres and wreak havoc upon churches and communities.
Muslim Fulani herdsmen are suspected of killing one Christian in an attack Feb. 1 upon Shendai village in Nigeria’s Plateau state and kidnapping four others, report media outlets Christian Daily International and Morning Star News.

Raids, burning churches and homes
That was after herdsmen killed 10 Christians in the villages of Lightlubang, Chisu and Jwakkom between Jan. 27 and Jan. 31, residents told the news sources. In some cases, entire families were slaughtered.
In Kaduna state Feb. 5, Bitrus Saleh Africa, pastor of Evangelical Church Winning All in Majagada village, and three other Christians were killed; 12 were kidnapped.
On Jan. 1, herdsmen raided Unguwar Rogo village in Kaduna state, burning the Evangelical Church Winning All building and six homes, sources told the news outlets.

Nigeria has led the world in the number of Christians killed for their faith or kidnapped. The country is No. 7 on Open Doors’ 2025 World Watch List of places most difficult to be a Christian.
