At least 31 people were killed in recent attacks upon villages in Nigeria, as Christians continue to be targeted for violence.
Christian Daily International-Morning Star News reported that Muslim Fulani herdsmen are said to be responsible for deadly raids, all of which occurred in Nigeria’s Plateau state.
Deadly raids
Among the deadly raids are the following:
– April 3 in Jol village; a Christian man killed.
– April 3 in the Gyel Gero region; three Christians killed.
– April 5 in Pwomol village; three Christians slain.
– April 6 in Dum village; one Christian killed.
– April 8 in Nding village; one Christian slain.
– April 9 in Mbwelle village; at least 20 Christians killed, seven from the same family. Many other Christians were missing, a source said.
-April 11 in Jol village; two more Christians slain.

Nigeria is No. 7 on Open Doors’ 2026 World Watch List of the 50 places most difficult to be a Christian. The country has led the world in the number of Christians killed for their faith or kidnapped.
