The ongoing persecution of Christians in Nigeria has claimed the lives of 31 more people, one just an infant.
Christian Daily International-Morning Star News reported that Muslim Fulani herdsmen attacked predominantly Christian villages in three Nigerian states between July 28 and Aug. 12.

The incidents are as follows:
— In Plateau state, armed herdsmen invaded Torok, Kum and Wereng Camp on Aug. 2, killing 10 individuals. Three of the slain were ages 10, 8 and 3, and a fourth child was only 3 months old. On Aug. 4, herdsmen struck in Tanjol, slaying three Christians. Two others were killed Aug. 12 in Kyeng and Gwa-Wereng Rim.
— In Nasarawa state, Filibus Usman Kuje, a youth leader of Ungwan Takwa District Church Council, was slain Aug. 6 when herdsmen ambushed Amaha village.
— In Benue state, 15 Christians were killed July 28 when assailants thought to be Fulani herdsmen attacked the community of Efeyi.
