Randy Johnson is the new pastor of Chappell Hill Baptist Church, Gilbertown.

Johnson has served churches in Alabama and Mississippi over his more than 50 years of ministry, including as pastor of Cypress Shores Baptist Church, Mobile, for 15 years, and Friendship Baptist Church, Bon Secour, for seven years.

He and his wife, Janie, also served as house parents for Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes & Family Ministries in Mobile. He has studied at Samford University, Athens State University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
