Bethsaida Baptist Church, Furman, will hold it 190th anniversary celebration on June 27.
The celebration will begin with a greeting period starting at 10 a.m. with the anniversary service at 11 AM. Following the morning service, a box lunch will be served at the Furman Community Center courtesy of Bethsaida Baptist Church.
Bryan Gill, director of university assessment and professional studies at Samford University, will speak.
Gill has a Bachelor of Arts from Auburn University and a Master of Divinity from Samford University’s Beeson Divinity School.
In 2017 he earned his Doctor of Ministry from Gateway Seminary of the Southern Baptist Convention in California where he received the Will Edd and Lila Fae Langford Award for Outstanding Doctor of Ministry Project.
Bryan and his wife, Sarah, have been married 14 years and have two children, Charles and Perri. They live in Homewood, Alabama and attend Shades Mountain Baptist Church where he is men’s ministry director.
Gill has also authored two books in the “How to be a Man” devotional line through Iron Hill Press and is the co-host of The Storied Outdoors podcast.
