The Alabama Baptist Pastors Conference for 2021 is a wrap, and it ended on a sweet note at First Baptist Church in Decatur. 

Junior Hill received the inaugural Fred Wolfe Lifetime Pastoral Ministry Award in a moving final session of the pastors conference. After receiving the award he gave a word of encouragement to pastors who may feel discouraged. 

Those present also heard from Tuscaloosa pastor Tyshawn Gardner, North American Mission Board President Kevin Ezell, longtime Birmingham pastor Danny Wood and Nashville pastor Jay Watson. 

In addition to the Pastors Conference, associational missionaries from around the state gathered at Hillwood Baptist Church in Huntsville for the Alabama Baptist Conference of Associational Leadership Annual Meeting. Chuck Kelley, president emeritus at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary,  encouraged associational missionaries to lean on God in everything they do.
