Crossroads Community Church, Elmore, celebrated Jane Barrett’s 40 years of ministry May 8. Barrett recently announced her December 2022 retirement as executive minister.
“She has served in every area of leadership and servanthood in this church that she is biblically qualified for,” said Robert Mullins, pastor.
She has taught and trained administrative assistants all over the country for Lifeway, the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions and other organizations. She has held leadership positions with SBOM, Southern Baptist Convention, Baptist Association of Christian Educators and other entities and organizations.
This year she was awarded the distinguished leader award from Disciple Leaders Network.
“Jane has blessed our church in a million different ways, and we are forever grateful for her and her ministry,” Mullins said.
