Daniels Chapel, Eva, celebrates 75th anniversary

Daniels Chapel Baptist Church, Eva, celebrated its 75th anniversary Oct. 9 with preaching by pastor Jeremy Calloway.

Music director Olivia Oaks led congregational singing and a choir special. Karen Borden and Amanda Campbell sang solos. Campbell was accompanied by her dad, Terry Hunter. Jerry Armor of the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission and Randy Makemson, associational missionary for East Cullman Baptist Association presented certificates.

“It was very special because a few years ago members thought the church would close,” Calloway said. “Having to bring in chairs for the large crowd attending the celebration was a tremendous blessing.”
