Jared Cornutt is the new pastor of North Shelby Baptist Church, Birmingham. He previously was pastor of Plymouth Park Baptist Church, Irving, Texas, for four years. Cornutt has also served churches in Hendersonville, North Carolina, and Alabaster.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from the University of Alabama and a master of divinity degree from Southeastern Seminary. He also holds a master of theology from Midwestern Seminary where he is pursuing a doctor of philosophy degree. He has also been a co-host of The Potluck Podcast with two other Baptist pastors.
He and his wife, Kandace, have three children.
