Liberty Baptist Church, Tallassee, will celebrate 100 years May 5, 10 a.m. The church was organized May 11, 1924, and met in a one-room schoolhouse on the current site. The celebration will include singing, reflection, speakers, memories and photographs, followed by a worship service at 10:45 with guest speaker Ronnie Smith. Lunch will be served.
