Steve Lucy is the new pastor of Stowers Hill Baptist Church, Attalla. He grew up in Fort Payne and served 10 years as pastor of Steele Baptist Church. Lucy also served several churches in the Etowah Association, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Indiana.
He holds a bachelor of biblical studies degree from The College at Southeastern (now Judson College), Wake Forest, North Carolina, and studied at Southern Seminary. Lucy owns and operates SDL Excavation & Hauling, Attalla.
He and his wife, Dawn, have two children.
