Audio recordings provide peek behind the GCR Task Force curtain
The audio files from the Great Commission Resurgence Task Force’s work in 2009 and 2010 were sealed for 15 years, the agreed-upon time by the group. The collection is housed in the Southern Baptist Historical Library and Archives.
The GCR Task Force files are housed in the Southern Baptist Historical Library and Archives on the fourth floor of the SBC Executive Committee building in downtown Nashville.

It’s not something you see every day — even at an airport. A routine security screening at Alabama’s Gulf Shores International Airport led to the recovery of five stolen Civil War-era cannonballs hidden in a passenger’s checked suitcase.
Ask many young adults why they are going to college, and they’ll likely say something along the lines of “to get a job.” Ask them what kind of job — and why that’s the one they want — might give them pause.
