Hollinger’s Island Baptist worship leader Doug Bilbrey dies

Doug Bilbrey, worship leader at Hollinger’s Island Baptist Church in Mobile, died Aug. 14.

In recent weeks, Bilbrey had also led Hollinger’s Island Baptist as they searched for a new pastor. He also was involved in several ministries and missions through the Mobile Baptist Network, including serving as a chaplain for the International Ministries Center. As part of the MBN church development committee, he was working to develop a database of people who could help support the worship ministry of MBN churches.

Bilbrey is survived by his wife, Carla, and three children, Dakota, Trevor and Garrick.
