Persecution of Christians in Nigeria, which has been happening for years, recently claimed another 15 lives.
Covering a span of five weeks, Christian Daily International-Morning Star News reported Muslim Fulani herdsmen attacked the predominately Christian village of Angwan Rimi in Nigeria’s Kaduna state Aug. 24, killing seven people including four youth and a one-year-old. Eight others sustained gunshot and machete wounds.

On Aug. 28 James Audu Issa, pastor of Evangelical Church Winning All in Ekati in Kwara state, was kidnapped; the identity of the abductors is unknown.
Eight Christians were killed and nine wounded Sept. 7 when Fulani invaded the villages of Wakeh and Gadanaji in Kachia County.
