Bethel Baptist in Jacksons Gap calls new pastor

Jeff Dye is the new pastor of Bethel Baptist Church, Jacksons Gap. He has served as pastor of several churches in central and eastern Alabama and has been involved in music ministry, singing with family members, gospel groups and solo throughout the South.

Bethel holds a special significance for him as his father was the church’s pastor for almost 15 years. Dye and his wife, Kay, have been married six years, and together they have five adult children, 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
