Berney Points Baptist celebrates centennial anniversary Sept. 21

Berney Points Baptist Church, Hoover, celebrated its centennial anniversary Sept. 21. A special duet was sung by Elizabeth Fourie, church pianist, and Paul Sutton, minister of music. The church was honored with a presentation by Sarah Walters, a commissioner for the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission. Following the service, a barbecue lunch was served and a video of the church’s history was shown.
