Pine Level Baptist in Louisville celebrates 150th anniversary

Pine Level Baptist Church, Louisville, celebrated its 150th anniversary Oct. 11–12. Saturday’s community-wide event featured music by the Griffith Family and David Ashley, fun activities, food and more. Sunday’s worship was led by music minister Leamon Littlefield and the Griffith Family. Jim Campbell, a former member and current pastor of Bay West Church, Palm Bay, Florida, was the guest preacher. Pastor Russell Hagler accepted a plaque on behalf of the church from Jane Hughes, a commissioner for the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission. A fellowship meal was served following the service.
