Bethel Baptist Church, Fayette, celebrated its 175th anniversary Nov. 16. The Vaughn Family were the guest musicians leading in worship. Billy Carl Sullivan gave a testimony and John Killian, director of missions for Fayette County Baptist Association, shared the historical significance of Bethel. The church was honored with a presentation by David Nelson, a commissioner with the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission.
