Kids at Thomasville Baptist Church got a chance to learn what disaster relief ministry is all about during their Disciple Now event Feb. 7.
Volunteers from the Clarke Baptist Association disaster relief team shared with them about the different kinds of disaster relief work and gave them a tour of the association’s laundry trailer, which deploys when needed to help volunteers and community members wash clothes.
The kids also helped pack Blessing Bags for the Clarke disaster relief team to take with them as they serve those affected by the recent winter storm in the Mississippi Delta.
