I really enjoyed reading Denise George’s article on loneliness published online at thealabamabaptist.org. I particularly liked the advice she offers to lonely people and what they can do to overcome their loneliness. It’s a very practical article.

Thank you for the article you published recently by Mark MacDonald on “Many churches will waste Easter opportunity. Here’s why.”
It was a great thought-provoking article. As I prayed about it and gave it more thought, I decided to do more research on the topic.
(Working with A.I.), here is what I asked and what was produced: “Many churches this Easter will have messages that do not really address the core issues of what people are going through in everyday life. Give me 20 examples of statements … using the following sentence as a guide. ‘This Easter discover blank (where blank describes things that truly express what people are going through in everyday life).’”
Some of the results include hope, rest, healing, strength, peace, purpose, etc.
From there a message can be crafted, such as “This Easter discover strength when you’re tired of being strong.”
And even a possible digital campaign for the nonchurchgoers:
“This Easter, discover grace before you ‘fix’ yourself … where your questions are welcome and your past isn’t disqualifying.”

Once again, Ken Lass is somewhat of a laser surgeon in his ability to shed spiritual light on an earthly event. In the March 5 edition of The Alabama Baptist, he pitches transformative Christian insights into the midst of our turbulent times to help pave the way along life’s tumultuous terrain. Concise — he is; Confusing — he is not. Christ-centered — as always.
