First Baptist Church Monroeville celebrates bicentennial Aug. 2

First Baptist Church Monroeville celebrated its 200th anniversary Aug. 2. The guest speaker was Rick Lance, executive director of the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions. Special guests included former pastors Randall Adkisson and Gary Miller who shared reflections of their ministries at FBC. Former minister of music Glenn Eubanks, who served at FBC for more than 39 years and is now retired, led the congregational music and directed two special anthems sung by the choir. Each attendee was given a commemorative 20-page booklet with articles and photos spanning the church’s 200 years of ministry.
