Members and friends of the former Mount Moriah Fellowship Baptist Church located on Mount Moriah Drive between Forest Home and Pine Apple, will celebrate homecoming Oct. 11 with its once-a-year “Second Sunday service and memorial service.”
Worship begins at 11 a.m. Daniel Troy Carmichael will preside.
The guest speaker is Paul Gaston Petznick, priest of pastoral oversight of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Carlowville, and chaplain and counselor with Brother Bryan Mission in Birmingham.
Lunch will follow (please bring a covered dish).
Afternoon entertainment will be provided by the Yeldell Yellers Gospel and Blue Grass Band.
