Prayer language

I was shocked to learn that our IMB (International Mission Board) has now decided to tell missionaries how they are to pray during their private prayer time. Where does this end? Should we give them a “form” to go by and ask them not to express any personal thoughts? Can they stand to pray, or must they kneel and face Richmond? 

Another disturbing policy, to me, is that of requiring all communications to be cleared by the chairman or someone he designates. Is the “fox guarding the hen house?”

I pray that our messengers to the SBC (Southern Baptist Convention) in June will vote to keep Wade Burleson as a trustee. We need someone to keep us informed and present both sides of an issue.

One last question — “How many of the IMB have ever served on the mission field?”
