The consensus is in. All Baptist churches should ban any form of dancing in their worship services. Why?
Because, that’s not the way they did it in biblical times. While we’re at it we should also outlaw every piano and organ. I never read about them in Scripture, surely that offends God during worship.
What else can we cull? How about the heating and air conditioning in God’s house? We shouldn’t be too comfortable during worship.
Now this is important, throw out all sound systems. If you can’t hear what’s being said that must be God’s will.
Turn off all the power. Lights are too convenient. If it was good enough for our great-grandparents it should be good enough for us.
We should all just sit in our unpadded pews, arms crossed with a nice scowl on our faces. That should please our God. It’s nice to see Satan has such a stronghold on our church members. Keep up the good work. This is the fight we should be focusing on. Forget all about that getting people saved stuff. That’s obviously not what is
Oh yeah, let’s get rid of the youth pastors, they are probably the ones fueling this “alternate form of worship” craze anyway.
