Worship styles

I am responding to the “Voice Your Opinion” request concerning Letters to the Editor about Baptist issues. I believe worship styles are a Baptist issue.

Though I prefer traditional worship and the Baptist Hymnal, I set aside my preferences for the sake of soulwinning. Praise and worship music combined with charismatic worship draws the masses to the mega churches. The by-product of this is new converts. Why don’t we, as Baptists, lay aside our differences for the sake of souls? It was the apostle Paul who exhorted that he must become all things to all people in the Pauline Epistles.
