Missions field at home

I’m a Southern Baptist and a retired newspaper publisher. I note carefully commercials on television concerning different denominations. Effective, but vastly untrue to Baptist doctrine, the Mormons air a lot of time. But one commercial that rings true and highly persuasive is the one produced by the United Methodist Churches in America. While Baptists concentrate on remote areas around the globe, it seems the Methodists work with those living in the shadows of their great churches. Missionary work at times should start at home.
