A stained glass window recently was placed in the baptistry of Prospect Baptist Church, Clayton, in Barbour Baptist Association in honor of longtime member Mildred Horne, 92. Horne’s children, who grew up at Prospect Baptist, dedicated the window to celebrate her 90th birthday.
“She is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known. She has had a huge influence on our lives and our church,” said Betty Hartzog, the church clerk.
According to Annetta Dasinger who served on the church’s renovations committee, the window was one of many interior renovations done in the last year, including new pews, paint, lighting and flooring. (TAB)
