Seven youth made professions of faith in Christ during Crosspoint camps at Judson College in Marion July 16–Aug. 3.
During the three sessions of the weeklong sports camp, Judson hosted 651 fourth through eighth graders and 15 counselors. The camp offers 11 different sports, including basketball, baseball, soccer, volleyball and tennis.
The youth choose two for their concentration during the week.
Matt Osborne, camp director, said the Judson campus is perfect for the camp because it’s compact, which makes it easy to keep the youth close together.
“Judson was very accommodating and I think they enjoy us being here. It’s a great place to have the camp,” he said.
This was Judson’s 12th year to host the camp.
“It was very good this year,” Osborne said. “We aim to keep our focus on Christ in all that we do, and I think we were successful at that.”
In addition to the seven salvation decisions, 12 made recommitments to Christ. (TAB)
