29 cars roll down Montgomery’s streets during RA Soapbox Derby

Twenty-nine cars, 84 boys and more than 300 fans, parents and leaders filled the streets of the state capital for the Royal Ambassador (RA) Soapbox Derby Oct. 20.

“We had just a great time,” said Steve Stephens, RA consultant for the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions. “Even though we have had years with higher numbers of cars, this was probably one of our best ones yet.” (TAB)
