Two hundred and five undergraduates preparing for church-related vocations at Samford University, Judson College and the University of Mobile received scholarships awarded by the Board of Aid this year. The scholarships totaled $301,360. Another $7,120 went to students in the Samford Extension Division.
The Education Commission, which also works with Alabama’s three Baptist colleges, met with the college presidents or a representative from the school three times this year. During the course of the meetings, the colleges presented information about finances, academics and student life to the commission. (TAB)
