Illegal immigrants

This is in response to the letter printed in The Alabama Baptist Nov. 8 from Eddie Alencar on the subject of illegal immigrants.

There are two ways for people to enter a foreign country: the right and legal way or the wrong and illegal way. In most countries, illegal aliens are rounded up and placed in detention centers until they have been deported back to their own countries at their own expense. America is a Christian country. We have compassion and do our best to separate what is evil from what is good, but contrary to law, we have not rounded up the millions of law-breaking illegals who have deliberately sneaked into our country without the procedures that are necessary for anyone to enter any foreign country. It is too bad that the illegals have been such an offense to law-abiding legal immigrants.
