She sounds like a person worth knowing, a person who you keep looking at and listening to when they walk into a room.
If Ashley walked into this particular room right now, she’d hear her seventh album playing and I’d tell her, “This is great, Ms. Cleveland. Your voice is incredible. It’s got that smoky intensity and the songs are great, too. No, I’m serious.
The whole CD is a great folksy, bluesy-rock mix, and here — could you make it out to Jeremy?” Seriously, this woman is great. She made a great new record.
