Judson Presents Eco-fable

Judson Presents Eco-fable

The Judson College drama department presented "The Man Who Planted Trees and Grew Happiness" March 13–14.

Directed by Don Speed, the production was a stage adaptation of French writer Jean Giono’s timeless eco-fable about what one person can do to restore the earth. Done in the style of readers theatre with no blocking or movement around the stage, the actors used a variety of expression in their voices to help the audience understand what was taking place, similar to radio dramas from the 1930s and 1940s.
