Former Alabamian named Southwestern professor

FORT WORTH, Texas — Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, recently tapped former Alabamian Laura Zettler to become assistant professor of homemaking in the College at Southwestern.

Zettler holds a doctorate from the University of Missouri in Columbia and master’s and bachelor’s from the University of Alabama (UA). She served as an assistant professor in UA’s department of consumer sciences from 2003 until 2007. She also served as director of children’s ministries at Calvary Baptist Church, Tuscaloosa, from 2006 until 2007. Her husband, Zach, is associate pastor of children’s ministries at Glenview Baptist Church, Fort Worth, Texas.
