We would like to thank all the people in Cherokee County and other counties who helped in mid-March when our home in Spring Garden, Ala., was hit by a tornado.
My husband, Doug, and I moved from Cedartown, Ga., five years ago to build our retirement home only to have it blown away by the F3 tornado. We lost mostly all our personal things. But our Rock Run Baptist Church family, the Spring Garden and Cherokee volunteer fire departments, the Red Cross, neighbor’s Piggly Wiggly and people we did not know just came to help. It was wonderful to see God’s love in these people’s hearts. We are building back and want to thank all the people who helped us.
Please continue to pray for us, as we need daily prayer to keep us on the right track and that we have the strength and health at 64 to continue on.
Carollee and Doug Collins
