The Judson Singers departed Marion for its annual spring tour Feb. 18–25, but this year’s trip encompassed more than church concerts.
Along with concerts in Houston, San Antonio, New Orleans and Wade, Miss., the Judson College women worked in ministries sponsored by San Antonio Baptist Association and in Baptist Crossroads, a home-building blitz in New Orleans sponsored by First Baptist Church, New Orleans. The choir, under the leadership of interim choral director Karen Gosselin, will perform its homecoming concert Feb. 25, at 7 p.m. at Siloam Baptist Church, Marion, in Cahaba Baptist Association. The public is invited.
Judson assistant professor of music Elizabeth Hostetter served as accompanist for the tour.
