If the third annual North Alabama Bible Conference at Decatur Baptist Church in Morgan Baptist Association had only consisted of inspiring preaching and music, then it would have been a success.
The conference, sponsored by Morgan Association and Phil Waldrep Ministries, featured notable speakers such as Mac Brunson, Johnny Hunt and Junior Hill.
In addition to the nightly meetings Jan. 21–24, this year’s conference offered a pastor’s meeting with Brunson, pastor of First Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Fla; a video tribute to Hill’s 40 years as an evangelist; and troops in Iraq the opportunity to listen via the Internet.
The largest crowds came on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, with attendance between 1,800 and 2,000, Phil Waldrep said.
