The regular activities and classes have restarted and are going well with many good contacts and relationships resulting in opportunities to visit in homes and share Christ.
As we look at Tredegarville, our downtown Baptist church, we are amazed to see how God has worked changes there. Three years ago, one employee from the school across the street remarked that she did not know that anyone still used that building.
Today there are Christian outreach activities happening every day of the week in that building.
The men’s recreation times have had more than 200 men from more than 50 countries, and the ladies sewing class has had more than 100 ladies from many different countries and ethnic backgrounds. The church is now in charge of these activities without any of our mission team members being in leadership.
Please continue to ask God to give skill and wisdom in language study for the seven team members who are trying to learn the language of their people group.
And pray for Troy Blankenship as he makes plans for a four-week language study trip.
“B” & “J” request prayer for the special “platform” they are creating as a bridge into their people group. Ask God to give wisdom and guidance and contacts with people of peace and influence.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers. I trust this update will encourage you to continue to pray, maybe to come over and help, and definitely to praise God for His goodness to us.
