Jason Breland, worship pastor for First Baptist Church, North Mobile, in Saraland, leads worship June 9 during the Southern Baptist Convention Pastors Conference in Indianapolis.
Breland’s father, Roger, director of the Center for Performing Arts at the University of Mobile (UM), also led worship as did UM’s Voices of Mobile group.
Voices of Mobile also provided a mini concert prior to the opening session of the Pastors Conference June 8.
The Brelands and Voices were among eight worship leaders and two worship groups leading worship during the Pastors Conference.
Other worship leaders included Alabama’s Joe Estes, minister of music and worship for First Baptist Church, Trussville; former Alabamian Alicia Williamson Garcia of Lynchburg, Va.; Mark Willard of Albany, Ga.; Tim Sheppard of Dallas; and Dick and Mel Tunney of Franklin, Tenn.
The other group was The Sherwood Worship Team and Friends. (TAB)
