Willing Workers

Willing Workers

God has continued to be at work among the people of Puebla, Mexico, and He has used willing workers from the Montgomery Association to accomplish His task.

We are grateful for the successful partnership arrangement we have had since 1998.

The good men and women from Montgomery have helped accelerate the rate of church growth in the Mexican states of Puebla and Tlaxcala through a variety of efforts.

Pastors have taught “Refresher Seminars” on doctrine and practice to local pastors.

Pastors and lay leaders have involved themselves in church starting efforts.

Men and women have come to lay the groundwork for church starts by participating in prayer walks.

Many have preached evangelistic messages. Others have tried innovative ministries such as supporting a music missionary to teach music and train musicians in new churches. Still others have helped construct worship facilities, at the same time practicing “friendship evangelism” with those around them.

Last April, we even had the current mayor of Montgomery, a member of FBC Montgomery, taking time out of his campaign to mix concrete and minister to others in Mexico.

The partnership relationship between Puebla Baptists and Montgomery Baptists has done much to further God’s Kingdom.
