While in language school in Antigua, Guatemala, we lived with a precious family. They were a big help for our language learning. Pray for Hector, Sandra, Diego and Sofia.

The Lord opened the door for us to share Jesus with Sandra, who speaks very little English, one night, and the Lord provided a translator for us as she began to ask questions about how our beliefs were different from the Catholics.

Stanley from California was living in the room next to us and could interpret Spanish when we did not understand what she was saying.

We could feel the presence of God in the room with us as we shared together.

Stanley told us he had prayed for someone to explain the Bible to him, so we were given another opportunity to share Jesus with him. He knows he is a believer but has never grown in his walk with Jesus. Pray for Stanley.

We had opportunities to share with language teachers at our school, and our teacher used Bible stories for the first time in teaching Spanish to us. As we read the stories, she asked a lot of questions about them. Pray for Brenda.

While we were in language school, we had a “Garbage Can and Bathroom Ministry” and put tracts in these strategic places.

There are light poles with two garbage cans attached to the poles. They are flat on top and just perfect for tracts.

There are about four poles to each block, and we walked six to eight blocks each day, so we were putting out about 50 tracts each day including those we left in bathrooms. Pray for the people who picked up these tracts and for Antigua.

There is no Baptist church in Antigua, so pray for a church to start here.

We are scheduled to lead our first team for Operation GO Nov. 25. Pray for us.
