Q: What led you to begin playing the organ?
A: I was probably about 9 or 10 when I started playing the piano. I just loved playing. That led to organs. I started taking organ lessons in my teenage years. I’ve played almost my whole church
life and I’ll be 55 Oct. 27.

Q: Why have you continued this activity?
A: I just think that’s what the Lord wants me to do, and I consider that a personal ministry.

Q: What does the ministry demand?
A: Faithfulness and being open to different types of music.

Q: What do you get from the ministry?
A: I get just as much from it as I try to give out to other people. I try to worship the Lord through my music.

Q: What led you to work with children?
A: I’ve always worked with children. I used to teach elementary school, and I was naturally drawn to teach children at church.

Q: How do you see yourself involved in these ministries in the future?
A: I’ll still be doing this until the day I die.

Q: What difference will these ministries make for you in the future?
A: I hope whatever I’m doing is going to positively affect children and their future and that they will choose to serve Christ as well.
