WMU’s CWJC

The story of Judy Thurman, recipient of the Sybil Bentley Dove Award, is a commendation to the initiatives of Alabama WMU and national WMU. More than 2,000 women have been trained through Christian Women’s Job Corps. This ministry of WMU helps women develop skills that enable them to move from a dependency on welfare to economic self-sufficiency.
