Doug Halbrooks of the Marion Veterinary Clinic joined the Judson College equine science department Aug. 25 to assist in teaching the equine nutrition course.
Halbrooks will team-teach the course with Equine Science Director Jennifer Hoggle on Monday evenings.
According to Hoggle, Halbrooks’ expertise will provide opportunities for students enrolled in the equine science courses to learn from actual case studies and hands-on experiences.
Halbrooks is a 1981 graduate of Auburn University and has worked in Marion since 1983. He currently serves on the Judson board of trustees and is a deacon and choir member at Siloam Baptist Church, Marion.
