For those unaware, Phil Keaggy is essentially the King Solomon of Christian music, his name whispered in the legends of contemporary Christian music with the same reverence that Hendrix and Clapton receive in the secular realm of guitar virtuosity.
Rocker Ted Nugent once said Keaggy could save the world with his guitar, and it is even rumored that Jimi Hendrix once tipped his Afro to Keaggy as the planet’s greatest guitar player. Add to the mix the fact that Keaggy is missing the middle finger of his picking hand and it becomes easy to believe that when in the presence of Keaggy’s music, you are in the presence of greatness.
