Judson College alumna Charlotte Lowder committed funds for the renovation of the Woman’s Missionary Union Residence Hall at Judson.
Lowder, the daughter of a Baptist minister from Walker County, attended Judson in 1966. The college awarded her an honorary doctor of humane letters degree in 2001.
New construction will include a computer lab and additional residential suites.
