A five-piece group from California, Dizmas’ self-titled debut for Forefront Records is essentially a repackaged merger of its previous two records, which, despite being solid offerings, flew mostly under the mainstream contemporary Christmas music radar. Forefront will get them the attention they deserve. This record has 10 tracks and they save the best and most original of them, “Worth Fighting For” and “Dance,” for last. Their upbeat, one-note-emotion radio rock is certainly nothing new, but they do it better than most.
