In December, some members of Wadsworth Baptist Church, Deatsville, in Autauga Baptist Association attended the open house of the Decatur campus of the Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes & Family Ministries. A young couple from our church, Terry and Julia Greene, are house parents at the Williams Cottage.
We took Christmas stockings for each of the eight girls in their cottage. We visited each cottage, meeting all the house parents and children. What a blessing we received from this visit.
Each of these couples are so “hand-picked” of God for this tremendous, important task of raising these children as God intended. I understand more than 1,000 visitors came that day.
